In this post I will write about the so famous Smokey Eyes.
This make-up has been among the first ones studied at Intact Media Academy and we were all fascinated and willing to learn it.

Maybe at the beginning it seems difficult and, to be honest, if one doesn't know some "techniques", the result is not the one which should be, which means that its specific "charm" should be offered with a lot of attention.

I was reading an internet article saying that Smokey Eyes "has become the favorite make-up of all the famous women (like Keira Knightley, Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Lopez) and for sure it will not pale too soon." In my point of view, it has no reason why it would, having in view it is sexy, glamorous, elegant and it fits any eye shape.

Interesting is that Smokey Eyes can be realized with various colors like black, green, brown, crimson etc. It is all about imagination !

If, in the end, we add some glitter, the effect will be stunning !

I have taken Cristina with me, in Mirela Vescan's make-up team, as we were about to practice a colorful, vivid make-up and I wanted to have Cristina as a model this time.

We have known eachother for few years and we have always had in common the happy spirit, the optimism and the power to go on, no matter what. I like to believe that all these three positive characteristics are what we share most of the time and, above all, the same sense of humour. We laugh and we always succeed in finding the funny side of life, where the others don't even dream about it.

I care a lot about her and I know her personality. I have to admit this has made my work much easier.
Mirela taught us a make-up where we had to use a lot of colour, so to dare ! For Cristina's blue eyes I have tried half yellow - half light-green make-up, a pink lipstick and a discreet blush.

She is in love with the butterflies and the beauty, with the ladybugs and the light ! I would have never seen her wearing a more vivid combination of colors than this one !

This is the second blog post in which I will talk about Monica. I hope she is happy with it; well, regarding myself, I know I'd like to write about her endlessly, so no problem at all ... Hope she's ok with it, as well (joking!). For sure she is extremely happy indeed !

However, on New Year's Eve, I went to her place to make her up for the party she was going to go to.
I have arrived with a small part of my make-up case, which looks something like this and I have started working. I know the Sephora make-up case appears various times in the posted photos, from many angles, but I have to admit I am a big fan of it, so I couldn't stop asking Marius to take many, many pictures of it ...

Monica didn't want a "hard" make-up or smokey-eyes. Too bad, having in view her bleautiful blue eyes ... But, with all these, I have chosen a make-up with various combinations of browns, light browns and a little white and pink. Ah, and let's not forget about the black eye pencil and the mascara, also black, to make her eyes look astonishing !
All lasted about 40 minutes, while I was also laughing because of Monica's little son, Theo and his jokes :)

All in one, there is a happiness to have the possiblity to work next to the marvelous lights from the Christmas tree and, also, close to friends who love you and support you in all you do !!

When love is in the air, nothing seems to come over it. We are fulfilled, we fly, we conquer the world ...

The same feeling of happiness and belonging was when I had the opportunity to work together with my good friends, Monica and Marius.

Before this photo session, which they made with the celebration of some good years since they know eachother, they wanted me to make-up Monica.  

I know her since we were in secondary school, we practically grew up together and I am very happy to say that even after all these years, even if there also have been some difficult moments we had to go through, we have succeeded in keeping our friendship alive. Oh, yes and well said is the proverb “A friend in need is a friend indeed!” Monica has been by my side, also for good and for worse, so me this has been a pleasure, because I could offer my friend a make-up session.  
Well, to be honest I cannot say that there has been a total relaxation; Monica is pretty severe with her image, with the way she will look in a photograph. No wonder, having in view Marius is a photographer, so they really know the importance of the image.
